The toys are made of metal and plastic, the metal used commonly is ZAMAK (or Mazak),  Zamak is also referred to as white metal or pot metal. Die cast is a mixture of common metals, This almost always refers to a metal alloy consisting mostly of zinc, but also with about 4% aluminum, and small amounts of magnesium, copper, lead, iron, cadmium, and tin. The trade name for the alloy is "ZnDC", referring to "zinc for die casting".
